Inventing Our Future Through a Partnership for Progress
Inventing a future where we only need one thing to make new investments in transportation and education–you.
Virginia’s citizens and families face chronic problems and a crisis of leadership. We haven’t invested in new transportation projects in nearly a generation. State funding never seems to be able to help stem the tide of the kids that swell the class sizes in Loudoun’s schools.
The crisis of leadership we face is a crisis of creativity. Our representatives in Richmond are content to recycle old solutions rather than inventing new ones. They can’t begin to solve our problems because they have refused to look at them from a different perspective. I’ve built my campaign to provide this new perspective.
Rather than simply looking at what services to cut, what taxes to increase, or how much money we can borrow I want to build a government that looks first at how to innovate its way past these same, tired decisions. I want a government that can help invent our future rather than one that is held captive by a lack of imagination.
We can create a government that uses technology to tap the ideas of its citizens to generate new revenue just like today’s most valuable companies do with their customers. We can innovate our way to funding our transportation and education needs not just this year but every year.
To do this, all of us–citizens, businesses, universities, etc.–will need to work together in a Partnership for Progress.
